I am really enjoying your reports of your stay in Chirpan. My wife and I live in New York, but we own a house in Zetevo that we are renovating. It’s a beautiful area, and we enjoy staying there.

Hello Jim!
)))!
I am really enjoying reading your experiences in BG! I will read everything because i am really fascinated to see my country from your eyes. Really different view! And it made me think about little things that we don’t usually pay attention to. Thank you for sharing !

Hi!
I’m a PCV in Ukraine and a member of our Enviromental Working Group. We’re trying to get in touch with other PCVs around the world who are working on enviromental issues to try to work my globally. Do you know if there’s any kind of group working on enviromental issues in Bulgaria?

Hey there!
Please help!
I just moved back to Bulgaria after spending 8 years in the States (mainly in St. Louis, MO) and I’m looking to get in touch with some PCVs here and make some new friends. My family used to be a host family many years ago when the initial intensive training was in Sofia/Bankya and I had a blast getting to know our volunteers but now that it is in Vratsa, I have no idea of how I can get ahold of anyone

The best bet I would be to go to http://www.PeaceCorpsJournals.com and look from here. I don’t think there are very many volunteers around Sofia/Bankya any more. You could also call the Peace Corps office in Sofia at 888 683 458.

Jimmy -Do you know anybody near Chirpan who does construction work? I am looking for somebody to complete a renovation of my Zetevo house. I would really appreciate a referral. Thanks!
